United Way of Midland connects people, partnerships, and resources to build a thriving community.
WE EMPOWER individuals, nonprofits, and emerging leaders with the resources and opportunities needed to create lasting change by:
- Connecting people to resources that build stability and opportunity.
- Developing emerging leaders through Project Blueprint.
- Providing nonprofits trainings and education through our Training and Conference Center.
WE COLLABORATE with nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and community partners to address our community's greatest needs together by:
- Supporting literacy and youth success through our Club Read Initiative.
- Mobilizing volunteers to maximize community reach and impact.
- Coordinating disaster preparedness response through COAD partnerships.
TOGETHER, WE THRIVE! Through the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our partners, and the resilience of our neighbors, United Way of Midland is building a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
See the difference we are making together:

Every number in our infographic represents a real person, a real need, and a real solution. These are just a few of the stories behind the impact we make together.
Senior Life, Meals on Wheels: An innovative grant from United Way of Midland funded an additional Meals on Wheels delivery vehicle, allowing Senior Life Midland to expand their reach and provide more reliable, consistent meal deliveries to homebound seniors across our community.
Project Blueprint: One participant's journey through Project Blueprint sparked a passion for nonprofit leadership that continues to grow. Today, they serve on both the board and development team of 3:11 Ministries using the confidence and skills gained through the program to strengthen Midland through service.
COAD Winter Response: When a severe winter freeze threatened our most vulnerable neighbors, United Way of Midland activated our COAD network to rapidly coordinate shelters, volunteers, and resources, ensuring families and individuals received the support they needed quickly and efficiently.
Week of Caring Food Drive: Thanks to the generosity of volunteers, businesses, and community partners, our Week of Caring Food Drive collected more than 3,200 pounds of food, distributed across eight local food pantries to help fight hunger right here in Midland.
