Preparing Today, Leading Tomorrow: Project Blueprint Welcomes Its 2026–2027 Cohort

A new group of emerging community leaders is ready to learn, connect, and serve! United Way of Midland welcomed the 2026–2027 Project Blueprint scholars and mentors at a Kick-Off Retreat, marking the beginning of a year dedicated to leadership development and preparation for nonprofit board service.

Guided by the theme “Preparing TODAY, Leading TOMORROW,” Project Blueprint equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to make a meaningful impact in their community. The retreat brought scholars and mentors together to build relationships and begin their shared journey.

Throughout the program, scholars will explore leadership, strategic planning, nonprofit governance, financial management, resource development, and public speaking. These topics help prepare participants to serve thoughtfully and effectively on nonprofit boards, supporting the organizations that meet needs across Midland.
